CAMP LOCATION -- The 2008 camp will be at the Costa Mesa Marriott Hotel, 500 Anton Blvd. Costa Mesa 92626. All campers will be lodged two to a room or a private room and will have breakfast, lunch and dinner provided each day.

THE STAFF -- Sportscaster Camps of America will be personally directed by Camp Founder Roy Englebrecht, along with a full staff of major college and professional sports play by play and television announcers as listed on the Lineup Page.

COST -- The cost of this five-day camp will be the same as in 2007 at $1,595. The cost covers all instruction, four nights lodging, broadcast equipment, all meals and all transportation while at camp. Campers will be assigned a broadcast partner, and they will room together. A $400 deposit is required with each application, and Sportscasters Camp of America will make the room reservations with the Costa Mesa Marriott. Campers upon check in are responsible for all incidentals and must present a credit card.

CAMP CHECK-IN -- Camp check-in will be on Friday, June 13th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. First classroom session is 12:45am. Camp check-out will be on June 17th at 1:00 pm.

EARLY ARRIVAL LODGING -- For those campers who want to enjoy Southern California and will be arriving a day early, SCA in conjunction with the Costa Mesa Marriott is offering a special room rate of $110 per night. Please mark on your application if you will be arriving a day early and would like this rate.

ENROLLMENT AND AGE REQUIREMENTS -- Over the past 23 years we have enrolled campers from ages 13 to 65. SCA requires that a camper be 13 years of age by July 1, 2008 to be enrolled.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION -- The Costa Mesa Marriott will provide free transportation to and from the Orange County Airport by calling 714-957-1100. All campers should make plane reservations to fly in and out of Orange County Airport to take advantage of this free shuttle service.
