Dear Roy,
I know this evaluation is coming way after camp ended but I was just going through the email box and I thought I would send it in. Since Sportscaster Camp, I've been working for Molloy College, a small D-II school on Long Island, and NYU Athletics serving as their PA announer for men's and women's soccer and volleyball. Both of those jobs, I contacted the school and basically created the jobs because they weren't intially looking to hire anyone for that position and I've loved every minute of them both. I was fortunate enough to be hired in early November to the broadcaster for the Strong Island Sound, an ABA Basketball team based on Long Island. I've been hosting coaches' shows and calling games since the beginning of November and with every game, I see marked improvement. Without Sportscaster Camp, I wouldn't have had basketball play-by-play experience or any substantial material to put on a demo reel.
